Hello and welcome to Upsy Daisy Designs!
I am Teri Deacon, co-owner of Upsy Daisy Designs, with my friend Nicole Nyvall. For the past few years we have been wanting to find a way to join our passion for creating a legacy for our families with having an impact on the scrapbooking world. As two stay at home moms, this seemed like the perfect mix of what we were looking for. We are so excited to be involved with such a growing industry and especially with Upsy Daisy Designs. We have some great plans for the future.
I am married to my best friend and love of my life, Martin and we have 3 beautiful daughters. Katelyn is 14, Sophie is 5, and Ella is 2. I started scrapbooking when Katelyn was just 3 and my main reason for doing it is to help me remember all the wonderful stages of their lives as well as all the cute (and not so cute) things they do. I love to look back and remember the day through photos and journaling, to tell the story. Patterned paper is my favourite medium to create with and I just can’t get enough! Now we get to have a hand in designing it ourselves. How exciting! I look forward to working with you and seeing many projects created with our products.

My name is Nicole Nyvall , Teri and I are thrilled to be the new owners of Upsy Daisy Designs. We have such a strong belief in the bright future ahead for this company. I have been a scrapbooker and card maker for several years now and I love having this creative outlet in my busy life! I have a wonderfully supportive husband, Tyler, who I have been married to for nine years. We have two sons, Hunter and Nolan who are seven and two, and a daughter Brin who is five.
When I think of scrapbooking I think of patterned papers and ribbons and of course the photographs! Those are my favorite elements of scrapbooking. I have been trying to change the direction of my scrapbooking recently and I have started to scrapbook diary style. I have been inspired to tell a more intimate story with each of my pages. I want to document the little quirks that my kids have and the funny things they do. These are the things that I fear I might forget one day if I don’t preserve them now. I even want to try to scrapbook pages that are based on a memory but I have no pictures for. I am excited to be a part of Upsy Daisy Designs so that I can see the other side of scrapbooking. Teri and I can’t wait to produce good quality, fun, and unique scrapbook supplies for you all! We look forward to working with all of you!
